Ski Cat runs the largest snowcat rental fleet in North America. Every season we rotate machines out of that fleet and offer them for sale. These are not auction finds or trade-ins. They are units we bought new, specified ourselves, ran in our own rental operation, and maintained on a documented service schedule because our revenue depended on them working.
What that means for a buyer. Every machine comes with a real hour meter reading, a documented service history, and an honest account of its condition. We disclose known issues rather than waiting for you to find them. We encourage buyers to inspect, and we will connect you directly with the local PistenBully Service Center to discuss the machine. On most units a PistenBully service representative can provide a FaceTime inspection on request.
Reserve a machine before it comes off rent. We accept deposits on pending fleet-sale machines while they are still out on their season rentals. That lets you lock in the machine and the price before the selling season gets underway, and Ski Cat commits to delivering the machine in the condition represented. The best units go this way, before they are ever listed.

Buying is not the only option. Ski Cat is the national bare-rental source for snowcats. Before you commit capital to a depreciating, maintenance-hungry asset, it is worth running the numbers on a full-season rental instead. Most operators find their capital works harder somewhere else in the business. Own the cash, rent the asset.
Qualifying used equipment currently earns 100% bonus depreciation, which offsets taxable income for the year. Ask your accountant what that means at these price points. Lease-Purchase and financing available.
