About the Spryte
The Thiokol Spryte is the machine a great many North American grooming and backcountry access operations were built on before the European groomers arrived. A 1202B carries people and gear over snow at low ground pressure, with a simple mechanical drivetrain that can be worked on far from a dealer. Parts remain findable and the machines stay in service decades after they were built, which is why clean examples still change hands.
This one was photographed in detail before it was sold — data plate, hour meter, interior, tracks and sprockets — because a forty-year-old machine is worth what its condition says it is, and that is a question best answered with pictures.
